Don’t Drink and Drive, Bike and Brew Instead

Information about the 2017 Bike-n-Brews event.
(Cascade Bicycle Club)

If you’re a biker (the self-powered kind) and love your beer, then you will not want to miss the Seattle Bike-n-Brews urban ride/lunch event coming Sunday, May 7, 2017. This event is “geared” for those who appreciate riding in the city as well as cooling off with a quality Pacific Northwest microbew and your registration fee goes toward helping the Cascade Bicycle Club provide education programs and advocate for a safer, more connected bicycle infrastructure throughout the state.

The event includes a (mostly flat) trek along the Duwamish and Green River Trails from Georgetown to Tukwila and riders can choose between a 33-mile or 43-mile route. Registration includes lunch at the Finish Line Festival with a beer ticket for the mid-point and finish line as well as a Bike-n-Brews souvenir.

Although the event is open for all ages, you must be 18 or older to register for this event. Registration fees are $40 for adult members ($50 for non-members) and $10 for youth ages 1-12 ($20 for non-members). You can register for Bike-n-Brews here.
