The Bellevue Jazz & Blues Festival showcases both regional and national artists over the course of five days in various locations throughout the city of Bellevue. The 2017 featured artist performances include Catherine Russell, a musician and vocalist who has worked with David Bowie, Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper and more. Her 2017 album, Harlem On My Minds, was nominated for a 2017 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album. She will perform at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

The Corey Harris Band will plan on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre  beginning at 7:30 p.m. Harris is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and band leader who has recorded many old songs of the blues tradition while also creating an original vision of the blues by adding influences from reggae, soul, rock and West African music.

Radio Raheem will play on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Bake’s Place. Radio Raheem was formed in 2011 and gets rave reviews for the group’s mix of funk, soul and rock. And the Rumba Kings will appear on Thursday, June 1 at Bake’s Place.
