Take a Zip Above the Trees

Bellevue Zip Tour
(Bellevue Parks)

The Bellevue Zip Tour is open each weekend to help people of all ages experience the views of Bellevue’s wooded area at a different angle. “Come join us for a spring ride through the trees. Soar through the forest on our 6.5 zip lines and walk across the two bridges high above Bellevue,” says the website.

Located up the hill from the South Bellevue Community Center in Eastgate Park, the tour holds zip lines from as short as 78 feet to as long as 458 feet and two wooden suspension bridges. Riders travel up to 35 MPH 80 feet above the ground which is spectacular to see views of Mt. Baker and Glacier Peak

The Bellevue Zip Tour and its guides are trained to Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) standards. Northwest Teambuilding is an Accredited Vendor Member of ACCT. All riders must be at least nine years of age and weigh between 60-275 pounds. The cost to ride is $53.00 for youth and $78 for adults. Reservations are recommended. Register online at Bellevue Parks or call (425) 452-4240. The South Bellevue Community Center is located at 14509 SE Newport Way, Bellevue, WA 98009.
