NW Flower and Garden Show is a Bloomin' Event

People in Seattle have been tip-toeing through the tulips at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show since 1989 and the show has only gotten better with age.

If you’ve never been, the Northwest Flower and Garden Show is sort of a smorgasbord of ideas for your backyard. This year’s “Taste of Spring” show features a full acre of show gardens with inspiration for outdoor living, edible gardening, sustainability and more.

You’ll also find free horticulture seminars with topics for the beginner to the seasoned veteran and “hands on” demonstrations too. And of course there will be lots and lots of vendors. Over 300 of them!

Special features include:

  • Garden Wars - Local TV and radio celebrities will battle it out to see who can create the most beautiful garden in under an hour.
  • Vintage Garden Market - Explore a collection of booths from local vendors selling unusual and one-of-a-kind home and garden items, vintage signage, repurposed furniture, garden art and more.
  • Tasting Corner - This gourmet marketplace will showcase fine organic craft foods and beverages created by regional culinary artisans.

The Northwest Flower and Garden Show will be held from February 22-26, 2017 at the Washington State Convention Center located at 705 Pike St. in downtown Seattle. The times are 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

"Early bird” tickets for $17 are available online through February 21. Full price tickets are $22 for the day and $31 for a 2-day pass.
