Percussion Dance Troupe ‘Stomp’ Clomps Into Town

Stomp will be in Seattle area in January 2017
Stomp will stamp into town soon!

Stomp is a one-of-a-kind dance troupe that performs stamping their feet and banging on drums … or pretty much anything that they can get their hands on including brooms, garbage can lids, vacuum cleaners, hammers, etc.

Stomp was created in Brighton, England in 1991 by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas. Since then, the group has appeared on Broadway, the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games in 2012, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and more. I have had the pleasure of attending one of Seattle performances years ago and it was pretty great. If you go, don’t be surprised if you find yourself finding household items to tap to the beat of the songs on the radio.

Stomp will be at the Pantages Theater in Tacoma for two performances (3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) on Saturday, January 21, 2017 and the Washington Center for the Performing Arts in Olympia on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

The Pantages Theater is located at 901 Broadway #700, Tacoma, WA 98402. Tickets can be purchased online here.

The Washington Center for the Performing Arts is located at 512 Washington St. S.E., Olympia, WA 98501. Tickets can be purchased online here.
