Langley Celebrates 33 Murder Mystery Weekend

Langley Mystery Weekend 2017
The Langley Mystery Weekend 2017 will be held on February 25-26.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Langley, Washington doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to murders. In fact, there has been a string of murders that have occurred on the small island town every February for 32 years! Of course, all of these murders have been fictional.

The town of Langley presents the 33rd Mystery Weekend on February 25 and 26, 2017 where you can get in on the action. (Not the murder, just the solving). It’s a pretty fun event where the whole town gets involved by becoming fictional citizens with their own connections to the crime. Guests are invited to collect clues from local businesses (all pretty much in walking distance), interview suspects and investigate the scene of the crime. Clues and backstory can be found in the local newspaper as well.

Another likely suspect.
Here’s what we know so far: “Residents of Langley on Whidbey Island are baffled by large muddy footprints appearing all over the tiny town since the first of the year. While some locals have reported sightings of 'Big Foot' in the nearby woods, others are saying it is all a publicity stunt to promote the first International Science Fiction Arts & Technology convention scheduled for the last week of February. Unfortunately, whether it is a Big Foot or a big hoax, the body found behind the local coffee shop is no joke and the police have called in retired Detective I. B. Fuzz to investigate this 33rd in a series of murders which have plagued Langley in recent decades.”
