SPECIAL EVENTS

Created with kids ages 2 to 14 in mind, the Children Film Festival Seattle will feature 192 film from over 50 countries that will help support their cause to “Feed Your Mind - See the World - Make it a Better Place” as they believe in spreading the word about social inclusion, diversity, teamwork, empathy, care for the planet, human rights, kindness and love. The festival promises that you and your kids will appreciate the different styles on animation, great comedy films and important documentaries.
“Our festival proves that our planet is home to many different and beautiful cultures and ways of life. These films also show that we share much in common with people who live in vastly different circumstances than we do. Members of the human family all have have the same longings — to laugh, to love, to belong and find the deeper meaning of our lives.”

In addition to the many short and full-length films, a number of special classes and events will be offered as well including Animate the "Me Machine" with Charlotte Blacker on January 28, Mobile Filmmaking with Jonah Kozlowski on February 4, For Seattle Filmmakers: Explore Opportunities with Sesame Workshop on January 28 and Drop-in Animation on February 11.
