FOOD & DRINKIf all beer pretty much tastes the same to you, then this isn’t your event. However, if you consider yourself a connoisseur of such amber-colored ales, you may enjoy attending the 8th Annual Belgian Fest at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion on Saturday, January 28, 2017.
Over 100 Belgian-styled beers (those brewed with Belgian yeast) will be hightlighted at the event. Admission fee includes a tasting glass and 10 tasting tokens. Each taste is 4 oz. Food will also be available (for an additional cost) at a variety of local food trucks. Session times are 12:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:30-9:30 p.m. Tickets are $37 in advance or $45 at the door. The event encourages attendees to bring a designated driver who can get into the event for just $5 which includes soda and/or water. Of course, the event is only open to those age 21 and up and only registered service dogs will be allowed so leave Fido at home with the kids. Separate tickets are required for each session. The Washington Beer Commission encourages you to designate a driver or take public transportation to Belgian Fest.
The Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center is located at 305 Harrison St. 98109 and tickets may be purchased here.
