Seattle Symphony and Chorale Present ‘Handel’s Messiah’

Sure, you’ve heard the “Hallelujah Chorus” many times, but are you are aware that the song is the finale of a much greater work? The Seattle Symphony and Chorale are teaming up to present Handel’s Messiah which many say is a collection of the writer’s finest work. Stephen Layton will be conducting with performances by Eleanor Dennis (soprano), Helen Charlston (Mezzo-Soprano), Gwilym Bowen (Tenor) and Robert Davies (Baritone).

Performances of Handel’s Messiah will be at Benaroya Hall on December 16 (8:00 p.m.), 17 (1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) and 18 (2:00 p.m.) Tickets start at $26.
