|(Pacific Science Center)|
For those who only thought that the Pacific Science Center was for the kids – you’re wrong. SPECTRA 2017 is a New Year Eve “science” party for those age 21 and older. Now in its fourth year, the party begins at 9:00 p.m. and runs until 2:00 a.m. Those who choose the Infrared Level will enjoy an unobstructed view of the Space Needle fireworks, DJs from KEXP, multiple dance floors, after-hours access to most of the Center’s exhibits (with the exception of the Sherlock Holmes exhibit), live science shows, planetarium shows, laser shows, games, a variety of entertainment, cash bars with beer, wine, wells, champagne and specialty cocktails, party favors, photobooth and of course a coatcheck, which you'll want to take advantage of when you go outside to see the fireworks shooting off the Needle.
The Pacific Science Center is located on the grounds of the Seattle Center at 200 2nd Ave. North, Seattle, 98109.
