|The Space Needle Santa and friend.|
Dubbed “Seattle’s Coolest and hippest” the Space Needle Santa is now appearing on the observation deck on December 3-4, 10-11, 17-18 and 21-24 from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on the 18). Santa is hanging out with a few elves ready to take pictures with your family aboard his “workship.” You’re invited to take your own photos or receive a free digital download from one of the Needle’s professional photographers.
The general admission for the Space Needle is $22 for ages 13-64, $19 for Seniors ages 65 and over, $14 for ages 5-12 and free for kids ages 4 and under. If you splurge for lunch at the Sky City revolving restaurant, admission is free, but there is a $25 minimum purchase required per guest. (See website for details) You can purchase tickets in person, but you can beat the crowd (and save yourself a lot of hassle) by purchasing them online before you leave the house.
Also, while you are there, plan time to browse through the large Spacebase Retail Store (no admission charge is required) to find crazy and elegant items that you won’t be able to find anywhere else.
The Space Needle is located at 400 Broad St. in Seattle 98109. The Observation Deck is open from 10:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m. For more information visit the Space Needle website or call (800) 937-9582.
