A C.S. Lewis Classic Comes to Life

The Lion, the Witch  and the Wardrobe is an incredible adventure for the whole family. (SCT)
Currently playing at the Seattle Children’s Theatre is C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which is one of the theatre’s “most beloved productions of all time.”

The story is fairly simple but the message of good vs. evil will stick with your kids and you as well. You see, Seattle Children’s Theatre is entertaining for the whole family, not just the kids. They do an incredible job of capturing and keeping kids’ attention while planning each show around the average child’s attention span. The theatre is also a great way to introduce your children to the arts in an environment that caters to them without talking down to them.

If you are unaware, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the story about four children who are sent to live with their relative during World War II. While exploring their new home, they discover an amazing wardrobe that serves as a gateway between the English countryside where they are staying and the magical land of Narnia where mythical creatures live and animals talk. They meet Aslan the wise and good lion as well as the witch who is the complete opposite. The musical show features themes about honesty, bravery and goodness in bite-sized chunks.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe plays through December 11, 2016. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office at (206) 441-3322. The theatre is located at 201 Thomas St., Seattle, 98109.
