ATTRACTIONS
The Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett is designed for children ages 1-12, but kids up to age 17 are allowed to come and explore and parents are encouraged to play as well. Housed in a beautiful facility, the museum is located across the street from the iconic Monte Cristo Ballroom. It features three levels of fun (the top level is a playground on the museum’s roof) with lots of activities and exhibits for families to explore together for hours. The folks at the museum take children’s safety seriously as well. Kids cannot be dropped off and random adults are not allowed without a child in attendance. Photo ID may be required during check-in as well.

Highlights of the museum include the massive two-story treehouse, an art studio, a construction studio, the “Rise and Shine” farm with milking cow, the Glow Zone, the Air and Ball Tower, the On Par Mini Golf course, Tall Timbers Rooftop Adventures, Waterworks and more. There is play city that includes a play cafĂ©, vet clinic, bank, barber shop and theater. Don’t miss the Monte Cristo Railroad and Railway Collector Train and surprises around every corner.

The Imagine Children’s Museum was designed with families in mind. Food and beverages are allowed inside as long as they consumed in the museums Common Area where there are few vending machines on hand as well. While running is prohibited, tired ones can plop down just about anywhere to take a quick rest. In addition to the regular exhibits, the museum offers numerous events every month as well.

The museum is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Thursdays-Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays, but is open on many holidays that fall on a Monday. General admission for both kids and adults is $10.20 and children age 12 months and under are free. There is sort of a “happy hour” on Thursdays from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for just $5.10 and since the folks behind the museum believe that all children should have access to the museum, admission is free on the third Friday of each month from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Members of the museum will enjoy an hour dedicated just them on Saturday mornings from 9:00-10:00 a.m. to get a jump on all the activities before the general public.

The Imagine Children’s Museum is located at 1502 Wall St., Everett, 98201. For more information, give them a call at (425) 258-1006 or visit their website.
